Membership Information

Why do we need membership?
The purpose of membership in the Northern Mississippi Jurisdictional Orchestra is to:

• Create a more established organization.
  
• Help support financially the cost of operation through dues and fund raising.
• Provide a greater sense of union within the orchestra.
• Enhance our correspondence system.

Who can be a member?
Membership is open to all instrumentalists and potential staff members. No auditions are necessary.


Can I Participate Without Being A Member?
Yes. Membership is not mandatory, but it is recommended.

How much does it cost to be a member?
The orchestra membership dues are $60.00 per year.

What will I receive as a member?
Official members of the Jurisdictional Orchestra will receive:
A music stand w/bag

• Music Folder
• Access to members' web pages
• An official orchestra t-shirt
• And more

What is required of members?
Members of the Jurisdictional Orchestra are required to:
Practice regularly

• Maintain a satisfactory level of commitment and dedication to the orchestra
• Be present and on time for rehearsals and performances
• Give prior notice regarding any rehearsal or performance nonattendance
• Maintain a godly character at all times
